Scouting can be so much fun

This past weekend Jacob and myself took a drive up to California City to scout out a location for a short film we are making. Besides the long drive it was a very scenic route and gave us time to finalize some things for the film. It was absolutely beautiful out there and we were able to locate the places we will be shooting the film. I think the best part was how much we hiked around the area just searching we didn’t even realize how far we were hiking. After I got home and looked at my step count I was amazed that I racked up over 12,000 steps even while spending 7 hours in the car!
